We really enjoyed our time at Ganesha Resort; the staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help, the scenery was stunning, and the food and breakfasts were delicious.

The resort sits a bit outside Kampot, so it’s pleasantly quiet and idyllic. Our bungalow was right beside a small river where you can kayak for free, a service the resort provides. Two fishing boats pass by daily, one of them at 5 am, and you can even hear a mosque. A lightly trafficked path separated our bungalow from the rest of the property, which hosts a nice swimming pool, a very good restaurant, billiard tables and other games. From the restaurant you get a great view of nature. We rented a motorbike for a few dollars and the owners were always very friendly, helping us with questions and bookings. On weekends it was busier because many locals from the capital spend the days there.

We loved staying at Ganesha Kampot. The staff took great care of us. We were there during the rainy season and were upgraded. The restaurant is very good. Cheap excursions are organized to explore the surroundings of Kampot! Nothing to report.
