The bed was comfortable and the room was large, but there was a fair bit of road noise. The fridge in the room was rattling and one was broken. The cable plugs were old technology and should have been removed. The light switches were odd. The staff I met at the hotel were not pleasant.

The spot is unbeatable, the bed’s a dream, the on‑site restaurant rocks, and the staff go above and beyond to help.

We booked two nights to explore Wells Gray Park, and the hotel’s spot was spot‑on; the room matched the price, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the complimentary tea, coffee and hot chocolate were a nice touch, though the kitchen was under‑equipped.
