The location is convenient, but the room and bathroom feel a bit dated and could use an update.

The family vibe was the highlight of my stay; the father and son who run the place really try to keep the communication clear. I appreciate that such small hotels still exist. The towels and linens were crisp and white. The elevator was a lifesaver after a long day at the beach or after shopping. I’d have preferred to eat breakfast elsewhere (there’s a Lidl 25 minutes away), but chatting with the senior owner while he served it was a pleasant touch. I don’t get the complaints about noise; the area is urban with a nearby railway, road, and airport, yet none of that disturbed me. What mattered more was that I couldn’t hear the neighbors, thanks to the solid walls.

They offered two single rooms at a reasonable price. The attic room works for a one- or two-night stay, but otherwise it’s cramped, and you risk bumping your head on the ceiling, making it hard to move around.
