The apartment had a lovely terrace with a view of the Tuscan hills, was spacious, spotless, and very quiet. Fredrico, the host, was helpful and gave us rides to dinner and back. It’s on the edge of town, peaceful, and great for touring, though we only stayed one night because we were walking the Via Francigena. We were disappointed to find we had to walk back to the start of our walk the next morning, but it was downhill and Fredrico helped us out.

The house is very pretty, the small terrace offers a stunning view, and there’s a coffee machine and kettle available.

The room was very quiet, spacious, and the bed comfortable, but it was dim and the blinds were hard to open; we used the bathtub as a shower and a curtain might have helped keep the water from splashing around.
