Cong is a beautiful village. No negative points.

The place is in a great spot and was the only hotel in a ten‑day trip that actually supplied wash cloths. The staff were very nice and the food was good; there’s a pub in the hotel that’s handy when you’re exhausted. The room, however, was very warm, so I had to open the windows, which meant traffic noise filled the room.

The staff were genuinely friendly and the price was solid value for money. The rooms were clean and comfortable, though the carpets could use a replacement.
