Urban Rooms by NEU Collective

“Centrally located to transport hubs. Facilities were more than I needed. Staff were polite and extremely helpful.”

Booking was simple and hassle‑free. The place sits in a central but quiet spot, though a shop directly across the street made it too easy to grab snacks and the like.

The location is superb, practically on the main promenade and the quay where the ferry to Valletta and the catamaran to Gozo depart. Breakfast is good, but the same dishes appear every day in the hotel’s restaurant across the street. The staff are helpful and friendly. We had booked a room for 3 people but received one with only a double bed; a makeshift bed that wasn’t really suitable for an adult was set up, and for the first two nights there was no other room available for us to move into. The hotel offers no other facilities—just rooms in a narrow, tall building, a narrow staircase, a small but functional lift. Only a few rooms have a mini‑balcony; skip it if that matters to you. The view is of neighboring buildings and balconies.

“Ok for a short stay”

The location is strategic whether you have a car or not, and we were able to park nearby each day. The place is clean, the staff nice, and it’s convenient to access the aqua club and the outdoor pool across the street. Supermarket, restaurants, and shops are close by. The room is well decorated. Air conditioning didn’t work for the first few days, which is crucial in summer; we had to request a fan on the second night after asking twice. Breakfast and the indoor pool were very disappointing. The building is essentially a sleeping block; everything else is in a different hotel, as I had already known from the reviews. The elevator is fragile, and we warned reception because it seemed like we might get stuck mid‑ride. The guests in the room next to ours were partying on the first night.

“breve vacanza di 4 giorni, sufficienti per visitare l'isola”

I liked the spot – it sits right on the waterfront for a nice stroll, close to the ferry for the boats and near Valletta. No complaints.

“Lovely place to stay but disappointing no AC and we weren’t moved to different room more quickly”

The place is lovely and clean, and the staff are friendly. There was no AC for two nights, but after insisting we were eventually moved to a different room.
