The spot is right where you want to be and the staff are genuinely friendly, which made getting around easy. Still, I think the place doesn’t deserve a five‑star rating – three stars feels more honest.

Waking up to that sea view from the balcony was amazing, and the room itself felt roomy and comfy. The downside was the breakfast – it was pretty bland – plus the narrow road and the confusing layout made getting to the hotel a hassle, and there were no real hot springs to speak of.

The view over the bay was absolutely lovely and gave the whole stay a nice backdrop. Breakfast, however, was a typical Chinese spread that didn’t really suit European tastes and could have used some fruit, but overall we left feeling satisfied.

The bedding was comfortable and felt fresh, which was the main thing I noticed. Apart from that, there wasn’t much else to comment on.

I was lucky enough to witness a couple’s proposal and a breathtaking sunset, which made the trip feel special. The room was spotless and tidy, and the service was attentive – the young lady at the front desk was warm and answered every question. I’ll definitely be back.
