The owner was super nice and willing to help out, which was great. But the room was a letdown - it was dirty and had a pretty unpleasant smell.

This old place was a good find, available at a decent price and tidy considering its age. However, the bed and pretty much everything else in the room felt old too - not exactly what you'd call modern comfort.

We walked in and were greeted by two staff members who seemed to have had one too many. They were clearly not in a state to chat, which was a bit concerning. The place itself felt abandoned, like a ghost house - not exactly the most welcoming vibe.

Staying in the city center was convenient, and the staff were really hardworking, which was great to see. The restaurant food was good, and we appreciated being able to order in for dinner and enjoying a pretty good breakfast buffet in the morning. That said, our last-minute booking meant we ended up on the top floor with a serious hike up the stairs, and our room wasn't exactly well-maintained - there were a few issues like not enough sockets and just a table fan to cool the inner room.

The location was spot on, but the bed and bedding left a bit to be desired - could have been better. Overall, it was an okay stay but that bed needed an upgrade.
