Country house "L'isola che non c'è"

The island that doesn’t exist feels like a green oasis surrounded by large trees that accompany the evenings. You can use a fridge in the dining room to store food or drinks, which is very handy if you want to bring a packed lunch. The owners are courteous and friendly.

“Nice but out of the way”

The place was very spacious and the owner was extremely helpful. The bathroom was lovely, and the pool and poolside area were nice. However, the whole property looks like it needs a tidy up; it’s clearly seen better days. The breakfast was lovely, but the room could use a redesign to improve it. Also, the property feels a bit too out of the way, in my opinion.

“Soggiorno molto piacevole, camera davvero accogliente e confortevole”

We had a very pleasant stay in a green, quiet setting. The room was beautiful, welcoming, clean, and especially comfortable; the bed was cozy and the atmosphere immediately felt relaxing. The overall location was great, with ample outdoor space and a pool area that, under normal conditions, would be a highlight of the stay. Unfortunately, during our visit an exceptional weather event—heavy rain and a tornado—caused damage, fallen trees, and many inconveniences around the property and the area. This was completely independent of the hotel, and despite what happened, the stay remained very enjoyable. Overall, we had a good experience and would gladly return, hopefully with better weather to enjoy the pool and outdoor spaces. There was nothing negative related to the property itself; the only disappointment was not being able to use the pool due to the severe weather and tornado damage, which was beyond our control.

The environment was clean. The location felt a little off‑center.

“Un'oasi nel verde”

Alpino’s friendliness, the host, and the pool were great. Nothing else to note; everything was fine.
