The host was very kind and we could speak English with them; the rooms were cleaned daily, the bed was very comfortable, we even had a small cute terrace from the room, and a big wardrobe where we could pack freely. The rooms have air‑conditioning, which we really needed because of the heat outside. The centre and the bus/rail station are a short walk away. The sea view is unfortunately only from the kitchen terrace, not from the room, and you can’t just walk to the beach to swim. The area is dirty and smelly; when we sat on the terrace in the morning for coffee we couldn’t stay because of the smell. That’s not the property’s fault, but the neighbourhood was like that. Breakfast was varied, but we don’t really like sweet breakfasts, so we bought our own.

A solid 9/10. The place offered good value, a tidy and roomy room, and was conveniently close to Galatea metro station.
