“静かな秘湯と暖かい接客、歴史を楽しむ旅館”
The hotel staff were very friendly and made a good impression. The food didn’t leave a strong impression, but the breakfast, dinner, and private rooms were pleasant, and the limited number of guests gave a calm atmosphere. Being a historic inn, the overall feel was old-fashioned, yet the bathrooms had been renovated and looked clean. Drinks at extra cost were reasonably priced. The layout of the property felt a bit maze-like, giving a sense of exploration.
I was relieved that there was no refrigerator, so I didn’t have to buy items that would melt or need refrigeration. However, there is no convenience store within walking distance, so it’s better to bring what you need. The sliding door windows were closed, so I couldn’t enjoy the view (perhaps due to geography); this, combined with bad weather, made the whole place feel dim and claustrophobic. The outdoor bath was only available as a paid private session, and because of the arrival time and meal schedule, I couldn’t use it. The last available slot at 8 pm felt too early, which was the biggest disappointment.
