The spot is right in the heart of Dotonbori and the bustling area, so getting out for food and entertainment is a breeze. It was clean enough; you get what you pay for. The bathroom and showers are shared, which is just uncomfortable.

The subway and the entertainment district are right next door, which was a relief since I was a first‑time Osaka traveler. However, the many karaoke spots and bars nearby make it lively, so if you’re looking for quiet it might be a concern.

The location is fantastic and the place was very clean at the start. The shower pressure was great. The entrance stayed open all the time, and on the street people were drinking and partying. The shared bathrooms were unisex and lacked a changing area, so you had to cross the corridor in a towel, which was uncomfortable for a woman. A security camera pointed at the corridor could be unplugged and turned off by anyone. The bathrooms were clean at first, but as the stay went on someone’s shoes brought in dirt, making them progressively messier.
