The guest house offers good value for money. We paid exactly for what we received: a standard room with air‑conditioning and a private bathroom. The guest house is very close to the jetty, so restaurants, shops and boat excursion agencies are nearby.

Very good. Nothing to add.

It’s in the fishing village, which is very quiet, and there’s a bakery nearby, a shop and restaurants. It looks exactly as shown in the photo, very simple. It’s too dark; I think the lighting is lacking. Like many places in Malàsia, the shower is above the toilet and floods the whole room. Additionally, there was a water leak in the toilet cistern.

Everything you need is there. It’s well located if you want to stay in the fishing village. The place is simple but correct. There was zero contact with the hosts, which I’m not sure is a real issue. It could use a bit of upkeep.

I liked it because we were right in the fishermen’s village. I think it’s worth staying here to experience and learn the island’s culture. The spot is super convenient for taxi boat, laundry, and the variety of restaurants or breakfast options. The only issue was the shower lacking a shower tray, so water spread across the whole bathroom, but for three or four days it wasn’t a problem.
