The reception and staff were welcoming and kind even though none spoke French; the room size was good, the metro was close, breakfast was included in the price, and there were no extra charges; on the downside, they didn't reply to emails, there was an odor in the room, hallway, and surroundings, the room’s cleanliness was lacking—gray or yellow curtains instead of white, torn, with drips on the wallpaper—and we stayed several days without room service despite multiple requests.
