The quiet, courtyard, plants and everything else were fine, but the total lack of hygiene was unacceptable—there was no dusting, spiders were piling up on the webs, and the mop had not been used for a long time, probably since last year. In the bathroom, a rug in front of the toilet had to be disinfected before we could use it, and after the kids’ shower it smelled awful, like a wet street dog; we had to take it outside to use the bathroom again. In the kitchen, a few pots were in a rack, somewhat washed, but if you looked behind them you’d see scattered cutlery, pots, and other useless items in a mess, as if someone had rushed away and left everything behind. That was the impression. I can’t understand how anyone would give a positive review for such a place; it’s unfair to other similar-rated spots with better conditions. I know extreme cleanliness isn’t always good, but tourism requires at least basic decency. The price was modest, but it reflected the miserable state of hygiene. I do respect Mr. Mile, a single man who loves plants, owns all the “models,” and has a greenhouse full of cacti and a well‑maintained garden with a decent, clean but somewhat cold pool, but that does not make up for the mess inside the house.

Milo is a magical person; the place is quiet, spacious, full of plants, and a safe spot to leave motorcycles or bicycles.
