The spot was fantastic, just a few steps from Pisa’s train station where trains run regularly; from there you can cross the station tunnel and reach all sights in 20 minutes, and we really enjoyed Pisa and the Arno.

The landlord was very reasonable, left us at night and showed us Pisa after dark, which was very beautiful.

Everything was perfect—from Giancarlo’s warm hospitality and extreme willingness to help, to the amazing terrace and spotless house, room, and bathroom. We especially appreciated Giancarlo’s kindness, and the place’s proximity to everything—2 minutes from the airport, practically behind the station, 2 steps from the center, the most convenient area possible. Highly recommend, thanks a lot Giancarlo!
I booked this place at the last minute, just the night before, and didn’t realize it was a room in someone’s house, but the host was really nice. He greeted us around 9 a.m. and gave us some tips about Pisa; the language barrier made our chat limited (he speaks French and Italian better than English, but it was fine). The place is very clean, less than a five‑minute walk from the train station, and gives easy access to the city. The only drawback was that another room for rent was next to ours; we shared the same bathroom and the guests there were quite noisy. Still, the accommodation was great, and the host was very friendly.
