I stayed in a spacious room, and the owner, a lovely woman, was reachable on WhatsApp and guided us to the hotel and the pre‑booked parking with a smile. She later explained what to do in the area, how to get around, asked about our wellbeing, and took care of every request. The hotel sits in a central spot of the town, and a bus that departs just outside the hotel makes it very easy to reach Florence. On the downside, getting to the room was a bit of a hassle—up a road and then stairs to the room—and the shower felt a bit dated, as did the TV and the fridge.

The breakfast was missing, the kettle was broken and triggered the lights. Overall, it was okay.
