“Noche en Simancas.”
I liked the location, the staff, and how clean everything was, but the rooms are only reachable by stairs and there's no shelf or hook to hang shopping bags or other items.

The place is well situated, but it was unbearably hot because the kitchens were so close, the bedroom window was tiny, and the rooms had a strong food smell.

The room was very spacious and the hotel’s restaurant was nice, yet finding the hotel itself was tricky and the location led you to a completely different building that was far away.

The service was good, and you could buy great hamburgers right there and have them delivered to your room; the rustic touch and the price on eclipse day were nice. In 2026, the mini TV barely worked and there was no air conditioning, so the night was painful with the window open and a ceiling fan that did nothing.

No air conditioning in the middle of August is brutal, and the room was so small that there was almost no space to open a suitcase. I didn’t like anything; I don’t understand why it’s called a hotel—it’s just a cheap tavern.
