Breakfast was fine, but a hot breakfast would have been nicer. The discounted rates for stays longer than a month were applied when I booked a month ahead, but when I ran out of money and had to book daily, the discount was removed, heavily impacting my budget and adding to my anxiety about keeping a roof over our heads. I almost had to sleep in my car because of this.

The place smelled like pot and marijuana, and the neighborhood felt unsafe, so I couldn’t sleep there. I’m not recommending it to anyone heading to Alexandria, Virginia, and the staff aren’t helping me get a refund for the day we didn’t stay. Think twice before booking here. The odor of pot permeated the entire building, and the area around the hotel doesn’t feel secure.
