I had the worst experience of my life; the bathroom was tiny and the place was unacceptable, so I had to cancel the booking, leave the hotel, and report it. I never received a refund for the two nights I cancelled.

The hotel’s location is very central and the breakfast was really good, even surprising in its variety. I liked it. Parking in the area is almost impossible, and the one we found was extremely expensive.

The pictures were a bit misleading; we were four people in a very tiny room and the bathroom was even smaller, plus the cleaning left something to be desired. Still, the reception staff were genuinely friendly and helpful.

The rooms were decent for the price, and I was upgraded, which I appreciated. The buffet breakfast was okay for a short stay. The staff, including the Turkish owner, the Pakistani manager, and another Turkish gentleman I can’t recall the name of, were all friendly, nice, and cooperative. The hotel’s location is good for exploring the European side of Istanbul on a budget, with a metro stop just around the corner and most major attractions within walking distance, though not a short walk. Overall, you get good value for a brief stay in Istanbul at a low price. The rooms could be cleaner; after a while the water would pool in the basin, and although the manager tried to fix it, the issue returned after some use.
