We liked the room itself; it had a small kitchenette with a kettle and coffee machine plus accessories. The room was clean, and we could easily hop back and forth to the Barclays Arena. The hotel sits right next to an S‑bahn stop, so you hear every train (nighttime a bit noisy). We attended a concert at the Barclays Arena and the shuttle was very convenient.

The proximity to the evening event was great, but the parking spaces were very tight.

The check‑in went smoothly even though there was no staff on the phone and I had to use a key card. Parking behind the building is tight but free. The spot is great for reaching the Volksparkstadion, Barclays‑Arena or Tierpark, and the S‑bahn is just a few minutes away. The rooms feel a bit worn and in need of renovation, and the location between two train lines brings some noise, though night train traffic drops sharply. There’s no breakfast in the hotel, but the Schanzenbäcker is close by.

The room was large and the bathroom was also spacious. The bar on the ground floor played music until 5 am, and the noise carried up to the third floor.
