“Beautiful and tranquil hotel”
We slept in a gorgeous room with stunning views and the hotel itself was beautiful; the restaurant served really tasty food and the bed was super comfy. We only stayed one night before heading out on a long drive, so the location was spot‑on for a stopover, but if we were staying for anything else it feels far from downtown San Jose, which is why we won’t return for the next leg of our trip.
The outside of San Jose was calm and the rooms were lively.
The staff are very friendly and helpful, the breakfast area is nice, and the common area is also beautiful. Our room was outdated, the bathroom and toilet needed renovation, the curtains were dirty, and there was an unpleasant smell in the room that didn’t match the hotel category.

The place was very unique and different from what we usually choose, yet it turned out to be exactly what we needed. It’s low‑key with almost no traffic, and the on‑site restaurant is so good we ate there most of the time just because we didn’t feel like venturing out.
