I loved the staff, Roy, Manager of guest relations, and his wonderful team—Maryna and Kate and Kate's husband. It's a beautiful hotel with lots of history and does an excellent job of sharing the history. The fresh cooked breakfast was the best. By the way, Roy is a dog and one of the world's best. My stay ended.

I was blown away by the made‑to‑order breakfast – fresh, hot, and presented nicely. The only hiccup was that the hot‑water thermos was missing, so we couldn't get a hot cup of tea after dinner.

“Wonderfully, friendly and warm. Beautiful property and hospitality.”

We stayed for our 42nd wedding anniversary, and the property and service were lovely; the decor felt cozy and homelike, and the staff treated us well. I would definitely return and hope the whole family could spend a weekend here. We did wish for a personal touch – a simple “happy anniversary” would have been nice, but otherwise our stay was great.

“memorable stay in historic manor house with very friendly staff”

This unique, historic property has extensive grounds, and the staff is exceptionally helpful and friendly. Every morning the breakfasts are cooked to order and we loved lounging in the rocking chairs on the front porch while visiting the nearby Storm King Art Center. It feels like staying at a good friend’s house with all the comforts of home. The manor’s age shows in a few funky layout quirks, and the bathrooms are small.
