Thanks again for the warm welcome, the fruit and veggies, and the very kind hosts. The silence and peace were incredible – perfect for unwinding after a long trip. Everything was just great.
We stayed a few days to enjoy the scenery and it felt like visiting grandma and grandpa – the hosts were friendly and the location is walking distance to a medieval town, scenic rocks, and nature. The house has three rooms, a shared toilet and shower, a fully equipped kitchen with a coffee maker, and a backyard barbecue (you need your own wood/charcoal and grill). Fast internet that turns off at night, and we wish they added a top mattress.

The garden is beautiful, the room is comfortable and warm, and the kitchen is fully equipped. The only downside is a little device in the garden that beeps every few seconds – pretty annoying.

The house is cute in a quiet mountain town with a nice view, and the owner was friendly – the kitchen was handy. We only saw the medieval town from afar and wish we had more time. Be careful: there are several Chervens in Bulgaria – we almost went to Cherven Bryag, four hours away, so a car is best. No Wi‑Fi or AC, but the windows keep it cool; if you lack a Bulgarian number, messages can be slow and international calls may not work.

Ideal spot for travel cyclists – great hosts and a kitchen that has everything you need. We were treated to delicious cake. Can't get better.
