Everything was spot on – the place matched the description perfectly. The only snag was trying to find the entrance after dark; a sign out front would have saved a lot of hassle.

The chalet is exactly what you want for a countryside break: simple, clean, cozy, and quiet enough to hear the occasional cluck of the chickens. The hosts are incredibly friendly, and there’s even a little path for walks. My wife, who’s usually hard to please, loved it. My only regret is not having discovered it sooner – I’ll definitely be back when I’m in the area.
