The weather was nice 😊, but the service, friendliness, and the owner's mood were terrible. We were the only guests who had to wait 30 minutes for breakfast. For six people the breakfast offered 3 apples, 1 peach, 1 kiwi, 1 orange, a choice of a cup of coffee or milk, 6 cold toasted slices of white bread, packaged jam, packaged butter, and that was it. In every room the floorboards creak. I believe all the good reviews are bought.

The room was clean and the location was good. It was scorching hot.

The vintage vibe was great. The support beams were iron instead of wood, and the jacuzzi’s motor only worked every 30 minutes.

Pets are accepted and the bed is comfortable. Breakfast is included. The restaurant was open until 21:00, but at 20:00 we were told we had to move to another town for dinner. There were silence signs, yet the floor creaks with every step both in the room and the hallway. Everything is audible; from the room you can hear conversations at the bar. The jacuzzi was poorly maintained and the buttons didn’t work. When we returned the room key, no one was there; we had to leave it with a local in the bar, who told us the checkout person had left.

The location near Valencia de Don Juan and the surroundings are excellent. The person who seemed to be the owner was overly serious when dealing with guests, spoke in a recorded basic check‑in manner, and never looked you in the eye. We’ve stayed in many places and they’re usually friendlier and more approachable.
