Premier Student Housing

“Worst experience to date, do not recommend”

The place was horrible, the mattress smelled of urine and when I asked to move I was told no; there was trash in the hallways for days on end, and they are very sneaky about requiring proof of student ID.

“Fraudsters: stole hundreds of pounds !”

Fraud alert: they steal the money but refuse access to the property; misleading online ad, then threatening to deny access, then refusing to return the money.

I had a confirmed booking for six nights but was denied check‑in upon arrival; only then was I told this property is actually student accommodation, a critical detail not clearly stated or visible in the listing. The full amount for all six nights was charged and not refunded, even though I was not allowed to stay at all; no reasonable explanation, solution, or refund was offered. This lack of transparency and refusal to refund for a stay that never occurred is completely unacceptable. I strongly advise future guests to be very cautious before booking.

I booked this place with my husband while heading from New Zealand to London to visit our kids, thinking it was open to everyone during the student break. We paid honestly, but then my husband was asked for a student ID. He explained that I’m not a student and asked for a refund so we could find another spot, but they denied it. Anyone in a similar situation should avoid this place. We used the entire stay, which was utterly disappointing.

“The way this booking was handled felt dishonest and misleading – I was refused a stay after paying, just because I am no”

I never got to stay there because the listing didn’t say it was for students only. After paying, they turned me away for not being a student and still tried to bill the full cancellation fee.
