“Considering that we did get a good price and Napa can be very pricey, I would recommend this as a very comfortable place”
The price was excellent and the beds were very comfortable. We liked that breakfast was included, and there was a nice shopping center next door that we could walk to. The staff was helpful and friendly, and the place was close to downtown. It was a little noisy hearing showers and toilets in neighboring rooms, and for us it felt a bit farther from what we were doing in Napa than we’d preferred.
“More than I expected, friendly staff”
Spacious, clean, with a Jacuzzi in the room.
The bed was good. The carpets were not clean. The floors were sticky at the breakfast area.
The staff were very friendly. Breakfast was good, with eggs, potatoes, sausage, waffles, and oatmeal. The room felt a little dated and the mattress was harder than I prefer, but that’s a personal preference. There are plenty of food places within walking distance. The only downside was that it’s kind of difficult to leave the property during afternoon rush hour traffic. I would stay again.
The bed was large and comfortable (the mattress firmness was right and there were many pillows). There was a coffee maker, a small fridge, and a microwave; I only used it once, but it’s very practical. The coffee maker was used every day, and they also offered coffee, tea, or chocolate at reception after breakfast. In one room I stayed in (I changed because I went to another city that day) there was a jacuzzi (hydro massage tub) that was very good. The first day a product got stuck in the vending machine and they were very kind to get it out (they didn’t have the key, but the guy who helped me didn’t stop until he got it). The worst part was the pool; in the photos it looks ideal and very clean, but the walls and part of the floor were very dirty. It’s not the main thing, the room was very good, but the pool was one of the reasons I chose this place, being indoors (because of the weather), plus the price and breakfast. The breakfast was very limited, with little fruit variety. Some hot food at least, but also little variety. They had yogurts for 2 days but ran out and didn’t restock for the next 4 days. In the room I stayed in the second time on the street level (ground floor), there were tiny ants in the bed (they don’t bother me in general and I like them, but in the bed they are annoying). I couldn’t kill them and had to shake the sheets outside. At least they didn’t come back.
