B&B La Cittadella

The B&B is easy to locate, a short walk from the railway station but far enough to stay fairly quiet; the elevator is reliable. The room was well equipped as advertised, with a fridge, kettle, and TV, though it would have been nice to have some English channels. Hot showers and room service were good, and the manager was attentive and helpful. The room was ready at 1 pm, which we appreciated. However, no breakfast was provided as expected, and the breakfast service changed on arrival when the provider didn’t show up—unsure how long this will last. This was disappointing since we paid a good price for that facility. The room and bed were smaller than expected; the bed was joined in the middle, making the hard part uncomfortable. Otherwise, the room was well equipped.

“Nice place to stay and pleasant host.”

The host was very attentive, contacting me right after booking to confirm my arrival time, showing up when I arrived, and giving a useful tour of the facilities and my room; he was easy to work with. I only think the room is a bit overpriced for a two‑night stay in Italy before a backpacking trip, especially when considering the convenience near the train station; it was just a little more expensive than I wanted to pay, perhaps due to metropolitan city prices.

“Would not recommend”

The location was fine. I had to call the staff in the middle of the night because neighbors next door were arguing loudly, and then they asked me to give them 10 for a review—must be joking, especially after I pointed out the dust behind the TV. The price is too high for one person: €120 for a single room they call a box.

“Experiencia no recomendable”

The location was good. The cleanliness left something to be desired (my girlfriend came back with insect bites on her legs), and they didn’t offer breakfast as advertised in the listing.

The room was comfortable and clean, the staff were friendly, and the surroundings were well kept. However, although it was marketed as a B&B, only coffee packets and biscuits were provided, and the coffee machine in the common area was broken.
