The staff were super friendly and welcoming, which was a great start to our stay.
The room was spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated, with a breathtaking view of the river and mountains.
The food at the Wine Bar was also a hit, although we wouldn't order from the regular menu again.
This place is a real gem, set in a stunning location with breathtaking views of the mountains and river.

The welcome we received from the accommodation team of Natasha & Santie was outstanding. The preparation of the Milkwood cottage where they hosted us, was beautiful! It was warm with underfloor heating turned on. The cold weather had set in and we had a gas heater, fireplace and electric blanket all ready for us. The farm is huge, with lovely walks, river nearby, wonderful birdlife. We stayed 3 nights and enjoyed three delicious breakfasts, where the service was excellent. My husband enjoyed the superb wine and purchased a few bottles to take home. We were sad to say goodbye and promised to visit again. We felt that the evening dinner menu was overpriced. The one meal we had at Ulumbaza was disappointing. Our Cape Salmon was hopelessly overcooked, dry and we struggled to finish it. Spoilt the whole evening for us! It was the most expensive meal we've ever had to pay for!
