Everything was simply perfect; I couldn’t find a single fault.

The rooms were wide and the garden with a nice pool was great, plus the staff were friendly and the spot just outside the main street was fine. However, this was one of our most expensive stays in Sri Lanka and it felt a bit pricey; there were many mosquitoes but no mosquito nets, no hot water, and when we asked the staff it turned out something had to be turned on for a hot shower. That worked for a moment, but when the next person wanted to shower there was only cold water again.

Outside the busy centre you find this pearl of calm; people were ready to help us during our first days in Sri Lanka and we enjoyed tasty food and the pool.
