The place was excellent and we were happy to find it last minute; next time I travel through Lewis Pass, I’ll plan my trip specifically to stay there again. I have no criticisms of this beautiful place whatsoever.

The view is amazing, the proximity to Maruia Springs is perfect, the kitchen is well equipped and clean, and there’s free entertainment by the calves on the paddock.

The room was comfy, spotless, warm, and the staff friendly; the location offered great views and quietness. We left too early and should have stayed longer.
