“great location, with lots of character !”
There are plenty of great restaurants around Philly, but the shower water pressure was awful and the record player was broken, which was a major let‑down since that was a key selling point.

I was initially impressed by the enormous size of my room, but unfortunately, it came with a significant drawback - the hotel's proximity to the train line made it almost impossible to sleep due to the constant, ear-piercing noise. To make matters worse, the staff seemed completely uninterested in providing any assistance or hospitality, which made my stay feel quite unwelcoming.

We absolutely adored the unique decor and fantastic location of this hotel, and were pleasantly surprised by how cool it was to be right next to the elevated train - it was almost like having a front-row seat! The fridge and freezer in our room were also a lifesaver for me as a breastfeeding mom, as I was able to store and pump milk with ease. The only thing to consider is that it might be a bit loud for light sleepers who go to bed early, but we had a wonderful time and can't wait to come back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal in the hotel's restaurant lounge, and the growler of water provided in our fridge was a thoughtful touch that really helped us rehydrate. The blackout shades in our room also ensured that we got a great night's sleep on Sunday morning. However, the couch in our room was a bit of a letdown, and we could have done without the full kitchenette that we didn't end up using.

The hotel's location was a major plus for me, as it was just a few blocks from my niece's apartment where we were celebrating Christmas. The bed was also comfortable and had nice pillows, which was a welcome respite after a long day. However, our stay was marred by a complete lack of service from the staff, who seemed to be nowhere to be found.
