“Excellent”
The staff were exceptionally friendly, and breakfast was delicious with local specialties prepared for us; by the third day they even reminded us to have coffee and tea. There was some confusion about the payment for the stay—they claimed we hadn’t paid even though the booking site had already taken the charge—but we managed to sort it out anyway.
The Riad was beautifully decorated with taste and color, and we were warmly welcomed with Moroccan tea and pastries. The staff gave excellent advice for touring Marrakech, and the breakfast was superb with homemade cake that was a delight. The Riad was well maintained and very quiet; we’ll definitely return.
“Great food, but a bit lacking in atmosphere”
This riad is definitely classy and clean, with amazing food - Fatima's cooking is incredible. The owner was really responsive when we had an issue before arriving. However, I was a bit underwhelmed by the atmosphere - the pool was freezing in late January, and the staff only seems to be around in the mornings, which makes it feel a bit dead. You have to order food in the morning if you want it for dinner, and in the afternoons and evenings, it's just the really nice security guard serving food.
“Excelente localização, excelentes funcionários, pequeno almoço delicioso. Adorei”
Overall everything was fine, but the bed felt a bit hard and I didn't like the curtain in the shower.
“Nice Riad, but some issues with owner”
I had a bit of a mixed experience at this riad. The place itself is really beautiful, with a lovely courtyard and rooftop terrace, and the staff was super friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious and the decor was tasteful. It's also perfectly located in the medina. However, the French owner Nicolas was a bit dodgy - I had booked with payment on arrival, but he kept pushing for a bank transfer beforehand.
