I highly recommend this place for a fantastic getaway. We booked Majete game drives directly with Majete, but Zua handled our transfers for a small, very reasonable fee. The chalets were huge, comfortable, and offered an amazing view with nature’s soundtrack. The pool overlooked the river and was surrounded by flowers—perfect for relaxing. The staff were all very attentive, friendly, and a joy to be around. I couldn’t have asked for more! The food was excellent, with varied daily menus, and they happily provided vegan options (thanks!). The massage was incredible—one of the best I’ve ever had, and I have them regularly for health reasons, so she’s in my top three. I can highly recommend Maybe Chisale, a wonderful therapist. I’ll definitely come back!
We had a fantastic time at Zua Safari Lodge and felt incredibly welcome from the very first moment. Mustafa and Lucky were amazing hosts who went above and beyond. Since we didn’t have our own car, they were incredibly helpful in organizing all our safaris and our arrival and departure transfers. The lodge itself is beautiful, offering stunning views of the river, and the pool area is wonderful to relax by. We absolutely loved our huge chalet with the river view. The food was also delicious throughout our stay. Tip: Just double‑check and confirm the safari arrangements shortly before you arrive to ensure everything goes smoothly. We absolutely loved our stay and would definitely come back!

I loved how eco‑friendly it was—so serene and quiet. My husband and I appreciated how spacious the rooms were, and the view was amazing. The staff were excellent; Mustafa was super helpful, as was another receptionist (forgot her name). Annie the massage therapist really did her job. The place was just beautiful, 100/100. The only concern was a bit about the safety of the doors, but otherwise it was good.
