Friendly greeting with a bottle of milk instead of silly sachets that many motels use. Great room and liked coffee and biscuits. I do a sachet of porridge when traveling, but the bowls to microwave were tiny. Had to monitor the microwave like a hawk. Hairdryer ho hum. Anybody who struggles with stairs should request ground unit. Otherwise everything very good.

Bed was clean & comfortable, toilet & shower & clean & large enough, good range of hot drink & crockery provisions. The heater & fridge are noisy considering it’s a studio, traffic noises a bit of a issue, particularly with front windows open, though the bathroom window is a useful alternative back for this.

I met a very friendly owner and the property was well kept, and it’s close to the University of Otago and Otago Poly.
