“Super accueil et lieux très agréable”
The place is super well‑located and the staff are very pleasant.
The staff were quite helpful and friendly. The Kasbah is somewhat run‑down, and necessary repairs are only done in a makeshift, careless way.
“Nice Homestay in Merzouga”
The room is pretty. The food is very good, and the staff are welcoming.
The owner and his family were warm and friendly, and the food was rich, tasty, and very good. The room was clean, easy to find, and in the centre. The owner's brother is a certified guide who offers tours for 50 euros each, which is totally reasonable. The bathroom feels old, and the biggest issue was the huge number of cockroaches. The owner said not to worry, but it’s not okay to sleep with them in the room or to use the bathroom all night because of them. This isn’t the owner’s fault—there were many cockroaches throughout Merzouga—but spraying something in the room before arrival would have been nice. Also, there was no air conditioning in our room, whereas the other room had it, so we chose that one because when we first arrived there were no visible cockroaches.
The inn is well‑placed in Merzouga. The host and his wife, who cooks very well, give a warm welcome and useful advice.
