The unusable internet (6 mb per second) and mosquitoes made the conditions unlivable. I did not stay.
The couple running the house are charming, offering tea every day, arrak for the nights, and for my friend who was sick with a stomach ache, they made arròs blanc without charging us extra. Breakfast was very good and complete. The place is 30‑minute to 20‑minute walk from the main beach, but closer spots on the side have plenty of buses and are quieter.

The hosts are amazing, and the spot is spot‑on, just a stone’s throw from the beach where you can pick up fresh fish straight from the fishermen after their haul. The only downside is the mosquitoes that sneak in when a window is left open.

It sits on a quiet fisherman's spot, a peaceful place. The guest house courtyard has gates and parking, and you can bike in any direction around Sri Lanka. I stayed for 4 nights and lived in the hotel alone. Adding a table or a chair to the room would be nice.
