I can't explain how other guests found the beds comfortable when the mattress turned out to be too firm. The area is rather bleak, with no direct beach access and everything requiring a scooter; in 20 minutes you can reach almost any spot on the island. Since I was alone for most of the stay, I felt having only a men's and a women's bathroom was too little. The only positive was the staff, who were always friendly and available. Based on my experience, I would only recommend it to those seeking extreme tranquility, even though my room faced the street and the walls were glass‑paneled, so light and noise made rest difficult. For the price, I expected more.
I stayed in a tiny hostel that felt like staying with friends; the garden was sweet.
“Super”
The owners are so adorable; they change the whole experience! Behind the hostel there's a garden overlooking the sea. The bathrooms are cleaned often. I recommend this place.
“Genial”
The hostel was run by two super friendly women, had a family vibe, reasonable prices, a magnificent sea view, a very clean shared bedroom and bathroom, and a taxi service available at the hotel for 200 baht – very convenient, I highly recommend.
“Du potentiel”
The spot is on the road with a small garden and a chair that offers a beach view and access. The reception was friendly and the manager was available. The room was spacious, had air‑conditioning, towels, and Wi‑Fi. The mattress was uncomfortable. The room is separated by a glass door, so outside light and the hallway pass through. The shower and toilet are only a few centimeters apart with no divider. A tiny shelf is right in front of the toilet for shower items, and I never put my towel above the shared toilet. The kitchen is cluttered with a bunch of things. The garden looks the same. It feels like living at someone’s house. The price is high for the comfort. It should be cut in half at least.
