The facilities and décor are gorgeous; it’s the most beautiful place I’ve stayed in Mexico, especially with executive service. On the sixth floor there’s a gym where people run and play basketball; the noise is excessive and can be heard inside the room, which was really annoying and overwhelming. All the classes are played at high volume. The rooms lack internal locks; you enter with an electronic code, but staff carry a list of codes, so anyone could enter your room while you’re sleeping. You should be able to secure it from inside if you want more peace, but unfortunately serious incidents have happened in other hotels.
