“Great hotel. Shame simple room service of toasties weren't available. Restaurant staff need some training and guidan”

We arrived late after a dance competition on the Sunshine Coast, and the reception lady rang through to the kitchen to ask if we wanted something to eat, which was fine. After dropping our bags in our exceptionally clean room, we headed straight to the restaurant, only to feel uncomfortable because the staff didn’t give us a menu until we asked, and when we ordered two quick items we were watched closely and left quickly.

First time staying at Plainland Hotel and it lived up to the hype. The king‑size room was roomy, the décor was fresh, and the bed was super comfy. The staff were great, hooking us up with two roll‑away beds for the kids without making a fuss, and we still had plenty of space to move around. Even though there’s a bar and restaurant on site, we never heard a single noise from them. Highly recommend this place to fellow travelers.

“So lovely! Will be back again”

The room was spotless and getting in was a breeze. The only downside? No microwave or way to reheat food, which would have been handy. They did provide plates and bowls, but there was no dish soap or tea towels to clean cups and glasses.
