The terrace with its breathtaking view was the highlight of our stay, and the breakfast—home‑baked bread, fluffy pancakes and fresh fruit—was simply superb. Claudine took great care of us, even setting up a little tour, and we appreciated the quiet surroundings. Just remember you’ll need a car if you want to get around for day trips.

The place was huge and charming, with a spectacular river view from the terrace that made every morning feel special. We were lucky enough to spot coatis, red macaws, iguanas and monkeys right by the pool, and the breakfast spread—bread, jam, fresh fruit, cake—had something for everyone. I’d gladly come back for another relaxed family getaway.

The views and the chance to see wildlife were fantastic, and the gardens added a nice touch; the host was friendly and helpful throughout. Unfortunately, the air‑conditioning barely cooled the rooms and a constantly dripping tap turned into an annoying background noise.
