The staff were great, but the bed was not comfortable at all. We heard a lot of highway noise all night, and the room lacked sufficient lighting.
The room was spacious, but the breakfast was extremely basic.
“Other than my room the hotel was good, not above average”
The breakfast was just average for a hotel; the staff was attentive and stayed late to tidy up after closing. I expected more from a Marriott, and the price feels high compared to a Motel 6 that offers similar room cleaning. The bathroom had stray hairs and corners that looked only briefly wiped, suggesting a common rag was used for both the faucet and the toilet. The towel storage was placed where it could get splattered by the toilet, so towels should be kept higher. This careless cleaning makes me question whether the remote, door handles, and faucets were sanitized. I choose Marriott for a higher standard than low‑end hotels; I wonder if the cleaning crew gets enough time, fair wages, and if inspections enforce quality control.
The location was good and the place was clean, but the rooms were dark—more lights would help. Breakfast was okay.
“It was a delightful experience!”
The setting was beautiful, and there were no negatives.
