The location was wonderful and the bungalows looked exactly like the pictures, right by the river and the sea, giving us a great experience, but the toilets smelled of mold and need proper treatment.

Everything was generally fine, yet the main entrance only has stairs, making it hard to bring luggage in and out, and the hotel sits a fair distance from the market, requiring about a 25‑minute uphill walk or a tiring drive to find parking.

The location is excellent, but the room was untidy, the staff were not helpful, and the breakfast was subpar.

The site is great and the view is fantastic, the front‑desk staff were wonderful except for the manager. This was my fourth stay at this hotel and I had always given positive reviews reflecting my satisfaction with the comfort and quality of service. Unfortunately, this time I had to lower my rating because of a clear decline in cleanliness and maintenance. The bed linens had obvious stains and a smell indicating they had not been replaced properly, and the furniture showed no noticeable renewal compared to previous visits. I also noticed a piece of chocolate cake with visible mold and fungus on the breakfast buffet, which is very concerning for guest safety. I reported this to the manager, a thin, elderly man, expecting an apology or serious concern, but he simply removed the cake pieces as if it were routine, with no apology or explanation. His approach when informing the front‑desk staff about the linen issue was inappropriate; instead of apologizing or checking the problem, he implied that the issue was mine, not a cleanliness or service problem. I’m writing this because I’m a regular guest, having chosen this hotel four times over the past years, and I always supported it with positive reviews. It pains me to see this decline in cleanliness and the handling of guest feedback, and I hope these observations are taken seriously to improve cleanliness, refurbish facilities, and enhance customer service to restore the hotel’s former distinguished reputation, which I first experienced 11 years ago.
