The Hotel Löhndorf, located beside Bonn's old town hall, offers comfortable, non-smoking accommodation with modern furnishings, minibar, and a generous breakfast buffet on a scenic terrace. Centrally situated, it provides easy access to the university, marketplace, public transport, pedestrian zone, Beethovenhalle, opera, and Rhine promenade. Nearby motorways connect to the exhibition grounds and airport within 30 minutes, and the Rheinsteig hiking trail begins here.

The spot is right beside the historic walking district, which is spot on. It’s a quaint, old‑school place with a tiny elevator that stops short of the top floor where our room sat; the stairs weren’t too steep compared to what we’ve seen in Europe. The room was spacious, came with a fridge and a Kleenex dispenser. Reiner, our host, was super helpful with storing our bikes and pointing us toward good walking spots, and his wife was equally gracious. The downside was that our room was in the attic, so the sloping roof was a bit unsettling, though I’m glad I didn’t hit my head on it. There’s no AC, just a big fan, but we didn’t need it in the fall weather.

A very nice, small, family‑run hotel where you meet real people instead of just getting a code. The breakfast was excellent. The roof terrace is beautiful! Very well connected to public transport. We were completely satisfied and would gladly return when the chance arises.

The staff were super friendly, breakfast was good, and the location is superb with safe bike storage. The room was generally clean, though a little extra dusting would help.
