A great little spot near the main beach and within walking distance to a more adventurous beach area. Caleb and Maika were excellent hosts who went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. We even met other local characters from around town, and it felt like hanging out with friends while getting a glimpse of the community. It’s a wonderful gem of a place that I would highly recommend.

Be warned that the staff here only speak English and showed no empathy for a lady who was sitting in the open common area because of the heat, crying over her mother’s death and having an anxiety attack; they didn’t even offer water or try to use a translator, and they forced us out of the hotel, saying it was a “good‑vibes only” place, leaving me to scramble for another room for my mother. Don’t trust this place – I’ve never encountered a hotel in a country that refuses to speak Spanish, only English, and the staff were as rude to me as they were to my mother. It’s only suitable for people who “swallow” cigarettes.

We were welcomed in a charming setting and the room was spacious and comfortable, though the shower had no hot water for the more sensitive. Thanks for everything!

The location is great, and the second‑floor balcony offers a nice view of the courtyard where you can sit comfortably. However, the accommodation felt abandoned; I was directed to another floor where the door was painted and the lock rusted, and the frame was wrapped in tape. The building itself was a patchwork of veneer, the floorboards were wide, and the staircase was dangerous. Instead of a bed, there was a mattress. Internet in the room worked poorly. I was told to go to the front yard where there were tables, but that area was filthy. When checking out, I had to descend the risky staircase with my large suitcase.
