We’re at a loss for where to start – the property is spectacular, meticulously cared for and exudes a subtle, family‑history luxury; we were welcomed warmly and spent a tranquil, comfortable weekend in the villa beside the main house. It was a shame we never met the owner Luís Mesquita Dias in person, though he was always present as much as possible, and we’ll definitely return. Our four‑legged Caju gives this place a 20/10, having played happily with the other gentle dogs both day and night. It truly couldn’t have been better 🍀, a sincere thank you to the house and the caretakers; we’ll be back soon. (Essential) buy a bottle of the locally produced, incredibly tasty olive oil from Quinta do Pé da Charca.
