“Modern, clean, smallish rooms near the beach makes a good base to explore the beach”
The room was simple but pleasant, clean, modernised, with a new WC and shower that had a powerful showerhead; there was a brand‑new Nespresso machine, kettle, and tea and coffee supplies, but no cooking facilities like a microwave. The location was very convenient, just a few yards from a pub, restaurant, shops, and the main beach. Parking wasn’t available on site, but a car park 200 m up the road offered a £4 fixed rate for unlimited stay; we parked there for 48 hrs without any issues (the council one might be more restricted). The room had nice touches such as poetry and art paying tribute to local hero Dylan Thomas, auto‑controls on the bed for lighting, and a decent TV with free Amazon Prime movies and many channels. The only drawback was that you could hear other guests through the wall a little, but overall it was pretty decent and I couldn’t complain.
