The view is pretty. The room was large and clean, and the beds were good. It does not live up to a four‑ or five‑star hotel in any way: the coffee shop closes at 17:30, after which there’s nothing to eat or drink. Everything is shut down. No breakfast buffet. The American breakfast replaces bacon with a grilled artificial ham—unappetizing.

The building’s architecture is impressive, with wooden art that’s oddly named. The staff were genuinely helpful, though that’s something you’d expect in a work report. Walking down a wet, slick, uncovered stairwell to the lower floor rooms was a real hassle. Ordering breakfast the night before and receiving it at 08:30 when the announcement says 08:00 feels strange, and I can’t think of anything positive to add for a 5‑star rating. It seems a breakfast buffet isn’t offered in this 5‑star hotel. Dinner inside was impossible, so we ate out instead.

The place is really nice, set in a beautiful spot with exceptionally friendly staff. I accidentally booked for the wrong month, and they swapped it for me at no cost, something western hotels would never do and would charge for, especially for a non‑refundable booking. I’m grateful for their kind and understanding approach. The pool is cool and the breakfast was tasty. The only gripe: they didn’t provide hand soap, so we had to use shower gel to wash our hands. Otherwise, it was perfect.
