“I just needed a safe, comfortable, and clean place for the night, and the Victorian Inn was fine.”
The room was clean and the bed firm, and the bathroom had plenty of supplies. I felt reasonably safe. I had mistaken it for a newer, larger hotel nearby and was disappointed upon arrival, but it’s actually a 1950s/1960s vintage building that’s well maintained. They can’t make it brand new, but they’ve kept it up. The price was good. The parking lot is open to anyone, and a fence would help deter thieves—worth considering. I had to leave my room to get the Wi‑Fi password; it would be better to hand it out on a slip at check‑in. The building’s exterior looked a bit dingy, but that worry faded once I saw the clean, comfortable room.
